Eating healthy is the number one thing in people's lives today. Everyone needs to take care of themselves, because taking care of yourself now is a good thing for your future. A healthy diet should be in everyone’s daily life, this can reduce the risk of having a chronic disease, like the heart disease. There is a pyramid called the healthy eating pyramid, and it shows you everything you need to eat to stay healthy.        

The healthy eating pyramid gives you five helpful tips, so that you can stay in good shape, and the first tip is exercise. Exercising can help you keep your weight within proper areas, and also helps you keep down on your calories. The next tip is to focus on what you eat, not on how many grams you eat. A person should look at what they are going to eat and when they should eat it. For example, you shouldn’t eat a Big Mac at 3am because this is a lot of fat and very bad for your health. Because you are less active at this time, the food will not be able to digest as easily. The third tip is eating a lot of foods like veggies, whole grains and healthy fat foods. The forth tip is to cut down on red meats, potatoes, fried foods, and salt. This is very bad for your health if you eat it on a daily basis. Limit these kinds of food to once or twice a week and you will be fine. The last tip the pyramid gives is taking some vitamins to help your health. Alcoholic beverages can be bad if you are drinking on a daily basis. If you drink in moderation it can be fine though. Eating healthy could save your life so take care of yourself.
